From its beginnings as a market town to becoming a vibrant city at the heart of Vorarlberg, Dornbirn has undergone a remarkable transformation. At the beginning of the last century, the flourishing textile industry created numerous jobs and sparked a period of rapid growth. This economic upswing continued after the Second World War, further strengthening the city’s industrial foundation.
