ādara™ is a spun fiber made from human hair waste. Through a patented biotechnology process, hair is transformed into keratin fibers. The fiber can be spun into yarns or combined with other fibers, opening a wide range of applications. In interiors it stands out due to its natural fire retardancy and high UV resistance. Beyond spun fibers, we are also working on filament development through wet spinning technology. These innovations will broaden the material’s reach. By using hair waste as a raw material, ādara™ lowers environmental impact, reducing the need for land, water, and chemical inputs. It offers industries a pathway toward circularity while maintaining strong functional qualities.
