NOOSA® demonstrates the application of PLA (Polylactic Acid) in textile fibers used in the textile industry. Thanks to its patented recycling process NOOCYCLE®, NOOSA® brings circularity to the industry, ensuring that every reclaimed garment will be turned back into a 100% virgin fiber. The solution does not only fight end-consumer waste but also overproduction, defects and losses along the textile value chain. NOOCYCLE® meets the challenges of the circular economy by offering an alternative to composting for a biodegradable fiber. This chemical but selective recycling allows NOOSA® fibers to be recycled into a virgin grade quality without damaging the other textile fibers blended in the textiles. Additionally, microfibers will degrade when released unlike most synthetic fibers.
