Real PET recycling instead of using bottle flakes

PET bottle flakes are being taken off the market by the major bottlers, and in addition bottle flakes will no longer be "recycled" into fibers in the EU in the future, as this is not a closed cycle but a downgrade.

The production of fibers generates a lot of waste that can be recycled and used as a substitute for virgin material if treated properly. Gneuss has developed the new OMNImax recycling system for this purpose, which processes fibers with a low bulk content either into pellets or directly into new fibers, as the system degasses all volatile components from the input material and increases the viscosity to the value required for fiber processing.
